Her short film *The Film* (2017) won Jesuit and ACT Film Festival awards. *The Sea* (2018) screened at Zawya and Sudan Independent Film Festivals. *Drums* (2020) won awards at the National Egyptian Film Festival and Cairo International Short Film Festival. *Gaddafi Birthday Cake* (2022) featured in exhibitions and festivals, including Zawya and Jerusalem Arab Film Festival. *A Ride* (2023) received multiple grants. She founded Cairo Film Factory (2022) and is a senior cultural editor at *Al Ahram Weekly*.
