Ali Kadhum

Born in Baghdad in 1982. He graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts and began studying at the University of Baghdad. Due to the war, he decided to stop his studies and leave Iraq. In 2006, Ali ended up in Belgium. In 2010, he developed an interest in installations and video projects, producing some experimental works. Due to his desire for storytelling and considering cinema as a powerful tool, Ali started studying cinema at the RITCS School of Arts in Brussels in 2014. In 2019, he earned a master's degree in narrative directing.
